Game Play
- The deck of 92 cards is shuffled together (56 numeric cards14 in each suit of blue, green, purple, and red / 36 word cards4 each of Devil, Sin, Temptation, Trial, Prayer, Grace, Ask, Blessing, and
Amen cards).
- Each player is dealt 7 cards.
- The remainder of the deck is placed face down on the playing surface with the
top card placed beside the deck face up as the first card in the discard pile.
- Play begins with the player to the left of the dealer and moves clockwise
(unless reversed by a Prayer card).
- At his/her turn each player may play a card from his/her hand onto the discard
pile matching the current card on the discard pile by color, number, or wordunless the current card was played by the preceding player and is an evil card
(Devil, Sin, Temptation, or Trial). Or, a player can choose to play a Card of
Light (Amen, Blessing, Grace, Prayer, or Ask).
- If a player cannot or chooses not to play a card from his/her hand, then a
card must be drawn from the deck. This card can be played immediately if possible.
- The player discarding his/her last card must say Amen as soon as the card is placed on the discard pile, or that player must draw
one card from the deck. The human player will be given about 3 seconds to click
on a Say Amen button.
- A player may not end a round by playing an evil card (Devil, Sin, Temptation,
or Trial). If a players last card is one of these, he/she may play it but then must draw a card from
the deck which cannot be immediately played.
