Game options that you can select

Options marked with a can also be changed during a game.

• Team Selection: You may enter the text of any team name that you want for the Visitor and Home teams. You may also open the �drop-down� list of computer teams and select one of them. The game will allow you to enter very long team names. But, the displays in the game may be negatively affected by team names of greater than 16 characters.

• Alternate Question File: This option will allow you to load a question file other than the default question file, BIBLE.QUS. The file you select must be in the correct format!

• Computer Select: This option lets the computer randomly select the type of hit that each batter will get. There are 2 options within this selection. One option will allow the batter to know what type of hit has been selected, and the other option won�t. That is, the batter won�t know what type of hit he/she is trying to get until after he/she answers the question.

• Outs: This option will limit the number of outs allowed per at-bat. Normally, there are 3 outs allowed per at-bat. This option allows a game to be played with just 1 or 2 outs allowed per at-bat.

• Runs: This option will limit a team to just a certain number of runs per at-bat. The game can be played to allow just 1, 3, 6, or 9 runs each time a team bats.

• Time Limit: This option will allow only 15 seconds to answer the question.

• Sound: This option will turn the crowd sounds on or off.

• Runner Animation: This option will turn the animation of the base runners on or off.

• Other Animation: This option will turn all the other animation on or off. This would include the animation of the scoreboard between innings and the home run baseball.

• Mercy Rule: Mercy is one of the key ingredients to the salvation that God has provided. Hence, the game has a Mercy Rule option. If one team goes ahead by 15 or more runs after the first inning, the game will end.

• Scoreboard Team Color: By clicking the �Change Color� button on the opening screen or selecting �Change Scoreboard Team Color� from the options menu, a team can change the color of their scoreboard statistics.

• Start game Maximized: This option will display the main baseball field window as a full screen. This is not recommended. The graphics of the game have been optimized for the normal window size. Maximizing the game will possibly distort some of the graphics.

• Innings: This option will limit the number of innings in the game. The game can be played to allow just 1, 3, 6, or 7 innings in addition to the normal 9. Remember that if the game is tied at the end of the game, there is a new option to allow for the play of extra innings.

• Questions: This option will load only the questions from that section of the Bible. The options are Old Testament or New Testament questions.
